CRZ swap axle info
For you guys wanting to K swap your CRZ, and want to use the stock CRZ hubs, I came across an axle solution I think should help you guys. I was measuring some 10th generation (16-21) manual 2.0L base model Civic axles and it appears they should be the correct length for a K series in a CRZ and they use the same inboard and outboard spline counts. Honda makes two different manual intermediate shaft lengths for the K series. So to use the 10th gen axles it will require the longer K series intermediate shaft. If you are using a K24z engine out of a 09-14 TSX or 12-15 civic Si you will need to use the manual intermediate shaft that comes with those engines. If you are using an older style K series like a k24a2 or k20z3 you will need to use a manual intermediate shaft from 04-08 TSX or 03-07 Accord 4cyl along with the 10 gen axles. We don’t currently have a car here to try this combination on, but from the measurements they should work. You can find these axles on car-part.com
