Don’t not over tq the bolts past 12ft-lbs\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen installing the two retainer clips that hold the shift cables to the bracket slowly and gently tap them into place with a rubber or plastic mallet. The brackets are made of carbon fiber and can break. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRemoval \u003cbr\u003eWhen removing the retainer clips from the bracket use a flathead screwdriver and only pry against the metal clips and the metal collar on the shift cables.
